Ambassadorial Committee Empty Re: Ambassadorial Committee

I think we should keep the Ambassadorial Committee; however, I think that the Consuls should decide what regions are close enough with us to send ambassadors to, and the number of people in the Committee would be determined by the number of "close" regions we have. I suggest each committee member handle 3 regions; their job wouldn't be to interfere with any affairs in the other regions, just keep up with events there. Then, if any information on the "close" regions is required by the Consuls or the legislature, the committee members can provide it.

I agree, however I would like to note that these should be REAL regions, not these puppet ones like the IAU or the ISU.

The INU, IAU and ISU aren't puppet regions. There aren't any puppets in any of them--they're legitimate regions. They were founded on the basis of connections with the IWU, but they are by no means "puppets."

Yes GROSS, but I think Gatito has a point. Ambassadors to the other I_Us are not really necessary, considering we run them ourselves and already are established in the IWU...so it's pointless. Kind of like being ambassadors for ourselves...
But Gatito, rest assured our regions are real. And almost have hit the goal of 40 nations.

As far as the ambassadorial committee goes, I honestly don't see a point in it, but if an interested person wants to take on that duty, by all means we should let them. I just don't really see a need for that position, considering all that takes place is placing nations into embassy regions and letting them rot there.

I understand your point, Rachara, I was just defending the sister regions. I think we've worked hard enough at them for them not to be called puppets.

Secondly, the committee can be of some use. First, the nations don't have to "rot" in the foreign regions; if we either require them or request periodic reports of events in those regions, they will remain active in their job. Adding onto that, if we are successfully able to establish the interregional defense organization, it would be wise to send an ambassador nation to liberated regions. That way, we could maintain friendly connections with them and help then reestablish themselves if necessary.

Well, just to make things fair, we'll vote so everyone can have a say.

Vote Options:
1. The Ambassadorial Committee will be disbanded.
2. The Ambassadorial Committee will be kept and the following plan will be used:
--Certain regions that are deemed very close friends with the IWU will receive an ambassador nation. If the IWU joins the defense organization, liberated regions will receive an ambassador to aid with reconstruction.
--There will be one member on the ambassadorial committee for every 3 regions with ambassadors.
--If reports of events in a foreign region with an ambassador are requested by an IWU leader, the nation controlling the ambassador there will provide the report either to the official or present it on the RMB.

If you have modifications to these plans or an alternative plan, post them and they will become options.

Nobody else seems to have voted, so we'll go with option 2. As it has a plan already attached and no modifications have been proposed, the system included with option 2 will be implemented.

Now we'll move on to the next topic.
