Re: Secondary Executive(s)
All right. I don't think this will take long; seeing as the Consuls and Justices essentially work together for executive proposals, I feel there is no need for any additional executive position.
Any ideas/opinions/thoughts?

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
Maybe they should act as fill-ins for the executives who became inactive, went on vacation, started an uprising, ect.

Hmm, that's not a bad idea. You mean, so if a Consul got thrown out from inactivity, these guys will have been already elected earlier to replace the thrown-out Consuls.

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
Yes, that's the idea.
However, I was thinking that the Consuls would appoint their secondaries, one for each person, so that way the political views for the position will not change drastically if one of them leaves.
Also, I was thinking that the secondaries would hold other jobs in the government, due to the fact that they will only be active if one of the major ones leaves. Once they stepped in, they would appoint somebody to fill in the government spot that they once occupied.

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
Hmm, that might make things a little more complicated. Let's get a decision on this so we can get through this topic quickly.
Vote Options:
1. There should be no "secondary executives" or anything affiliated with Gatito's idea.
2. The "secondary executives" would be elected/appointed people ready to replace inactive Consuls if one is banned, but they will not hold another office in the meantime.
3. The "secondary executives" would be officials picked by each Consul to replace them should they be banned for inactivity. The replacements would be serving another government position in the meantime, and would appoint a replacement for their previous position himself or herself.
Please pick one of the three options as a vote. If you have another idea, post it and it will become part of the ballot.

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
I vote option 1 because I feel that there are already enough government positions as it is. However, I do think that Gatito is on to something here. Perhaps we should give Kialga the ability to replace inactive Consuls. This way we don't have to elect a special body of people to work as replacements. Another option could be to have the advisor step in to take the place of an inactive Consul. I am hoping (and confident) that Consuls will be among the more active group of officials.

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
I vote three (obviously).
And, Vizindolf, their activity doesn't protect them from bans.

Re: Secondary Executive(s)
All right, so based on who has voted, the third option is the most popular.
So, in essence, our "secondary executives" would simply be officials appointed (with consent) to replace a specific Consul should that Consul be tossed due to inactivity. It will not be an extra office, just pre-selected replacements.
This concludes the discussion for the secondary executives. Now we'll move on to the next topic.
